Essential oils are the aromatic liquids, also called the oleo resin, found in trees, flowers, bushes, and seeds. They are referred to as the “life-force of the plant” or the plant’s immune system that keeps it alive during harsh environments and protects it from potential diseases. How essential oils work to protect the plant is how they work in our bodies as well!
The oils are extracted from the plant during a process called steam distillation. Essential oils are much more potent than the plant itself or the dried herbs that you are use to hearing about. When plants are dried, they lose up to 95-97% of it’s healing properties. When you use essential oils, you are getting a complete chemical profile of the plant, therefore getting all of it’s potent therapeutic properties. An example of how potent essential oils are for instance is, 26 cups of peppermint tea is the equivalent to 1 drop of peppermint essential oil!
Essential oils have a profound effect in raising our body’s frequencies, aiding in the prevention of diseases. Essential oils support our immune system in the most natural and pure way. The molecules in EO’s mimic the molecules within our bodies that aide in regeneration and repair. EO’s support and balance our endocrine, circulatory, digestive, nervous, and reproductive systems. They help us to metabolize nutrients, minerals, and vitamins. EO’s boost our immune system and are mood elevating.
Essential oils have been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. In fact, it is often referred to as “Mankind’s 1st Medicine”.
It’s time we bring back what we were intended to use.
